New MINI FILM - did I succeed in telling the story? Part 2

I received a lot of good feedback on the mini film I posted a few days ago, so I thought I’d post this new one too. Once again I ask… did I succeed in telling a story within the short runtime? Any other thoughts?

Good use of the leave color effect and pretty good camera angles throughout.

The story, or at least the concept in this case, is communicated well.

I think this will probably strike a chord with aspiring artists, as we all played out some scene similar to this at one time or another. Every Picasso or Chopin started off as a daydreamer.

You're doing great so far, keep it up!

Thanks man. Appreciate the feedback. This one was a one man band production. Maybe one day I’ll at least find someone to press record for me and then we’ll have some real cinema on our hands 😆 Thanks for watching and commenting again! Hope to see some of your work too!

Lol, be careful what you wish for. My current film in progress is an interactive movie where you try to escape from a vast surrealistic labyrinth. I'm just getting started building the skeleton of it, but if you want to look around, feel free.

Here's a quick explanatory trailer (V.5)

Here's the entrance door to the maze, this is in early alpha state, so we're just building functionality right now. Click on one of the 2 choices at the end of each video to continue the film.

Tell me after you see this, and I'll delete this post, so it doesn't steal focus from the thread.

As @Nate North said, it's more of a concept than a story but you definitely communicated it well.
I can definitely relate and got a kick out of the Billy Joel sheet music.

The opening/fantasy scene in the concert hall (recital hall) are beautiful - do you mind telling us where you shot that?

Sheesh!!! That sounds crazy. Gonna check it out soon. And nah man, leave it up! This thread doesn’t have to be all about me. I’m no narcissist. Spread the love!

Thanks for watching! I shot that at Community Bible Church in Georgia. Definitely a beautiful chapel!
