IMDB vs Letterboxd?

For you guys which one do you prefer or use more? IMDB is a veteran for reviews having being around fo over 30 years and keeping knowledge of films (especially indie) however it is a rung on Amazons large set of asset keys. Newcomer Letterboxd is more of a social network where you journal your watching. Which one do you use/prefer more and what could improve for both?

I don't think IMDb & Letterboxd have anything to do with each other.

IMDb is exactly what it says: a database. It incorporates reviews but more than that it's a database of who is in/wrote/directed/edited/produced/crewed what movies. If you subscribe to the pro version, you also get agent & manager info.

Letterboxd is a social media platform.

It actually reminds me more of Untappd where you post what beer you are drinking, rate it, and have friends/share lists etc. 😎🍻

Well they're both different in different ways however I use to look at IMDB more and I've kind of jumped over to Letterboxd really.

Not unusual you jumped over. It's like getting your news from Facebook instead of traditional news.
