They didn't specifically say, and usually they do. So unless I can see the actual student film they were doing with the phone, I can't agree with the hype that they smartly included in this ad. I've never seen "student films" be a focus of an add like this for a phone before. Cause it wasn't even just a throw-away line, they brought in Jon Favreau just to make a point about that aspect.

And I-phone/I-pad movie can look pretty decent. But are they as good looking as say... a black-magic pocket? I can't say for sure yet. You certainly need a good stabilization rig, that's for sure.
