Dear indietalk.com forum members
First of all, congratulations for your great web page. I am writing my first script.
My first question is about scene transitions in the script.
In one part of my script there is the following scene:
INT. MATT`S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM - DAY
TIM is playing with a ball. His friend JOSH is sitting on the couch and looking at him
INT MATT`S HOUSE; GUEST ROOM - DAY
MARK is hidden in the guest room. He is staring at TIM
INT. MATT`S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM - DAY
TIM and JOSH are talking in the living room
INT MATT`S HOUSE; HALLWAY - DAY
BEN is talking to MARK
INT. MATT`S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM - DAY
JOSH is playing with a tennis ball. MARK watch TV
INT MATT`S HOUSE; GUEST ROOM - DAY
MARK stares at MARK
INT. MATT`S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM - DAY
BEN shows up, and sits next to TIM AND JOSH
In this case the action is continuos. But is is necessary to use "CONTINUOUS" in each header?
If it is neccessary i believe the script will be like:
INT. MATT`S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM - DAY
TIM is playing with a ball. His friend JOSH is sitting on the couch and looking at him
INT MATT`S HOUSE; GUEST ROOM - CONTINUOUS
MARK is hidden in the guest room. He is staring at TIM
INT. MATT`S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM - CONTINUOUS
TIM and JOSH are talking in the living room
INT MATT`S HOUSE; HALLWAY - CONTINUOUS
BEN is talking to MARK
INT. MATT`S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM - CONTINUOUS
JOSH is playing with a tennis ball. MARK watch TV
INT MATT`S HOUSE; GUEST ROOM - CONTINUOUS
MARK stares at MARK
INT. MATT`S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM - CONTINUOUS
BEN shows up, and sits next to TIM AND JOSH
Best Regards, and thanks for your time!
