/// Shot by a GH1 or GH2

Thanks! This is Flowmotion 2.02 and Sigma 30mm 1.4 all the time. In a wedding, you don't have much time to change lenses lol. No Filmconvert or any plugins, just a little grade made while editing on Sony Vegas. This lens have a nice look, ahn? :)

Hey Fernando.
Nice Videos :)
One thing I don't like is the sound in the wedding film, when the bride is singing, its so agley.

Wich slider do u use? Self made or did you buy one?

Greetings

Hello stephkay, I came back to post another shot, and only now I saw your comment, sorry for being late. Yes, the audio is a problem, mainly because I didn't had an audio guy for this job. The slider is a non-branded one, but not self made. I bought here in Brazil.

So this is my farewell from GH2. I think it's the best performance I got from this lovely camera. Thanks buddy for all the adventures!

There realy aren't that many used BMCC's on the market yet - or do you plan to wait?

There 's one listed for $2950 (new - open box) - but that's not much less than the list price for a new one.

New BMCCs are available from Adorama on eBay for $2995.

Cheers,

Bill

I need to wait a couple weeks until my friend, on USA, get ready to receive the item. If I buy direct from internet, when the camera arrives here, I have to pay 100% of federal taxes lol. So, the government offers the possibility to travel and back with a single product without charge. I think they want us to travel :P

Yesterday I saw an used BMCC for 2.5k, but the shop price is fine to me. Thanks for the info, I didn't know Adorama was selling new BMCC's, thats great. :)

I still need to discover which lens I will use as a base for the Isco 2x anamorphic without vignetting. Maybe a Canon FD 50mm will be good.

Check out Upstream Color, a feature film from writer/director/DP/actor Shane Carruth shot on the Panasonic GH2 and now playing at your local theater!

Time Magazine's piece on this film asks if it is "One of the Best Films Ever Made?"

Here is the trailer:

http://vimeo.com/57342043

If you can't make it to the theater, or it's not playing near you, you can buy or rent it on Amazon Instant Video.

If you prefer physical media, you can get it on DVD or DVD and Blu Ray.

And if you want to buy a GH2 and make your own movie, there are still a few left at Amazon and eBay :)

Shane is distributing the film himself instead of selling it to a studio - so more of the dollars you spend at the box office or at Amazon go to a fellow indie hybrid still/video camera shooter, and not to big Hollywood. Pretty cool.

Best,

Bill

Don't know how I missed this, but Hot Rod Cameras posted this on their Facebook page back in May:

"Watch the movie trailer to "2 Guns". Hot Rod Cameras hacked (3x) Gh2 cameras and provided custom lens mounts so the filmmakers could use Panavision anamorphic lenses. Denzel Washington/Mark Wahlberg star in this high-energy action extravaganza!"

How much of this trailer do you think was shot with the GH2?
