It's cr@p, Phil.
Go do it all over again.
Nah, that looks pretty good actually.
I like the slider and dolly action.
Obviously the highlights are blown out in enough scenes that it almost looks like it was done deliberately. I hope not.
The effect is too close to looking like error.
Does your T2i have zebra striping capabilities?
I think the performance and the story elements probably should have complimentary but different styles to them, although I have no clear idea how or by what measure.
Different lens, or coloring, or aperture setting, or time of day, or location, or something.
I dunno.
But something to separate the two stylistically.
Also, it would have been nice to see the story element been brought in earlier.
1:11 in on a 3:42 video is kinduva big "Oh! Hey! We're going in this direction - as well"!
Gotta watch out for those shadows at 1:03.
Yeah, I know it's Lawrence's own shadow, it's just at the edge of the screen enough to be a distraction.
The leg shot effect was done nice, as well.
Unfortunately the song lyrics don't really make it explicit as to why when seven guns are bearing down on him the wise choice was to shoot himself in the leg, smear it on a tree and take off gimping with his gee-tarr.
??
Lyrics go "There I laaaaaaay.... There I laaaayy-yy-yy"! - as he takes off through the forest.
Umm... Yeah.
Speaking of lyrics, I can understand the "shivering like a sh!tting dog" part just fine.
But for the life in me I can't make out the next line.
"Shivering like the timbers in the bay"? A ship?
Whut?
Huh?
Not your problem or fault. I just can't understand the line despite given the opportunity fifty-eight times.
Looks good.
Congratulations.
