archived-videos Dear Bullies - Anti-Bullying Video

good message but i think it should be a little shorter. 2 minutes of a kid fliping through signs can loose your audiences attention! Great music and lighting though. I think you did it pretty good!

I actually got the idea of reading signs from another video I saw and I was captivated the entire time which surprised me. But it all depends on the audience's mood I guess since sometimes I just feel like skipping through a video. But thanks a lot!

The guy in front of the camera was pretty good.

I've never been bullied at school, but I feel for the children who've been victims. I can't stand injustice (in whatever form or colour).

The message was good, but if you really wanna send a message, you should make it more interesting.

Haunt was misspelled on the second to last card...

But overall very nice.

I liked the lighting - though the thin writing on the page I found hard to read at times.

The music was pretty, good, too.

But overall I think it's a tad bit too "victimy", right?

I think the last card should read
Dear bullies, I'm not going to put up with it any longer, I will come for you in the dark of night and your blood will flow like rivers of fire in hell.

The white cards looked overexposed.

As far as cinematography goes, if you're planning on keeping the whole thing one static shot, make it "tastier." Right now it looks like you just set up a webcam (which would be fine if it was supposed to be a victim "confession"-type video, but this is not that). Off the top of my head, I would try moving the camera closer, so that the signs fill up most of the frame and the actor's head is cut off. You could do a few interesting things with the rest of the background if you wanted to as well.

Your message does make a good point -- when there's bullying, nobody wins.

I wouldn't of wanted to cut off the my head because I think seeing the victims is quite important. Also, a couple of people mentioned some of the cards were hard to read, I actually kept running out of ink on my pen, then after I wrote most of the cards, I found a better pen so thats why the middle cards are harder to read. Thanks for the feedback guys.

geeze, all those messages are the spitting image of a paranoid delusion.. I mean how can you hear something when you're not around, the kicking must have stopped, or else this would be a video of the guy being kicked.. the text and subtext tell me that the person crying for help needs real counseling, bullies aren't the problem, the person has real mental issues and should seek treatment right away.

Your actor is pretty convincing so good job that. I listened without sound, so I may have missed something, but aside from the few tech issues (blow out cards) I think this looks pretty intense.

I know, me too... but It ended up to be a serious piece.. :)

It's a good message overall, but It's too tragic... It makes me cry... :) :(
