Youtube HD link gone?

Hi Guys,

Correct me if I am wrong and being incredibly stupid but with the new layout of Youtube... the sharing possibilities have been greatly reduced and for me it now seems you can share a HD link of the video?

Has anyone else encountered this or am i missing something?

Yes, it looks like the HD link option is gone... Very annoying. Anybody has a solution?

Just add the code &hd=1 after your root link, and there you go.

It is working here. Can you give an example of a link with the code which is not working?

Using a link of my channel, for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2QjL7waYMg&hd=1
It opens in HD mode.

Oh, so you need to use the long URL?! Thank you! It's working now. I just hope it'll continue to work, I have a bad hunch about this GUI change...
