Yeah we knew about that too... The chain sounds were tough... and watch again you might notice people talking and stomping on stairs... we were shooting in the cellar of a converted church just before a dinner function... and we aren't sound pros ...yet 
I think watching some examples of indie film... sound to me is the most important aspect and something I want to learn to get a LOT better at... cause bad sound... ugh... bad flick...
