XP Users

I'm a very recent convert to 7. XP maxes out your RAM at 3 Gig. If it weren't for that, it's a solid OS. I gotta say, though, 7 is pretty sweet. I definitely recommend it.

xp is much more 'black and white' for me and for some reason will playback live editing much quicker even with the same specs on vista or 7.

Everyone seems to think I'm backwards, for sticking it out with XP. I just love its simplicity... I only wish XP64 would have been more used back in the day, that way most, or even all drivers/compatibilty issues would have been solved and I would have been free to use upto 16GB's of RAM.
I'm running xp64 with out problems. Not much in the way of driver issues, it was an early 64bit OS from MS.. so older hardware might not support it, but most anything within a few years old should...
