Writer looking for production group!
Hello everyone, it has been quite awhile since I last posted here - life has been throwing some crazy things at me, including my wife and I expecting our first child in August.
Anyways, I'm almost finished with a script for a short that I have had in my head for quite some time and although I wanted to do the whole project by myself, I now know that will be pretty much impossible. Therefore I'm looking for a local person, crew, group etc. that would like to read the script and hopefully produce it. I would like to be involved in the process but I will gladly let the right people do their respective duties. That's why I'm here.
The short is 21 pages long(using Celtx) and there are a few things I need to tighten up, but overall it's 95% done. As a reference I would say if you liked the movies "Safety Not Guaranteed", "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and/or you are a fan of Gabriel Garcia Marquez, you would appreciate my short and my other ideas.
If any local in the Ohio(Cleveland) area would like more info on the script or the other ideas I have, please email me at jleon1980 at yahoo dot com. I can meet in person and I'll buy the first round lol.
