Would an old Canon battery work for a 60D?

I have an old canon battery from the Canon Gl1 days and was wondering if it is okay to use on a 60D. In the past I know you could use Panasonic batteries for any Panasonic camera (I own a DVX100b) but I'm not sure how it would relate to an DSLR.

If it helps the Canon battery model I have is BP-930.

The canon 60d, 7d, 5dmkii, mkii all use the lp-e6 so no it wont work. There are plenty of batteries out there cheap make sure they are chipped. I've used this one with good results. http://astore.amazon.com/thenetfilmmak-20/detail/B003RRFWRY

Cool, thanks. Yeah the 60D arrived today and I noticed that right away. Oh well. I have 2 batteries to start anyway.
