Worth the hastle

You'd want to get one sized suitably for your camera. If you have a DSLR, that first link is waaaay overkill. You can get a lighter (and cheaper) version of that.

For the second, no idea.
 
well im going to be renting a Sony NX-5 over the summer to shoot and i thought the first one may help out. I looked at renting the merlin vest but they wanted over £800 for a 60 day shoot and with stabilizer it brings my budget down quite a bit.
