Worth marketing this?

Hi folks

So I recently finished a short film 'Danger Wank Frank: The Coming of Age'. It's a really absurd comedy about a professional danger wanker. We won directors choice at a local film festival and I was pretty chuffed about that, but now that I've got it up online I'm wondering how to get it to the right audience, is it good enough to have a real audience ect ect. I know these are pretty basic problems every film-maker has, but I'm pretty new to this game and so I'm just open to all suggestions, even any books/articles anyone can recommend on marketing would be great.

Here's the short in question, its at an awkward length of 14 minutes, but I think there's some quality there.

Just some quality? That certainly stopped me from clicking on your link.

You didn't state what you hoped to gain by marketing this short, but whatever you do, don't spend any money on it. There's no financial upside to shorts.

Good luck.

Ahh sorry, I was just being humble, I meant to say my short is awesome, it'll make you laugh and cry, it'll be the best 15 minutes of your day! Is that better?

I'd like to build a fanbase above all else
