Where to study? (UK or CUNY) - URGENT

I'm currently studying at a private Music School in Manhattan, but i'll drop out cause I wanna do Film. I have no real experience, no money for a private film school and no SAT scores (I'm international)
Would studying Film at a community college and then transferring to a 4-year sound like a bad idea? (in NYC, CUNY schools)

Also, I have been researching for UK Film Schools. Is this a better idea than CUNY schools?

Please let me know what you think about CUNY, UK Film Schools or Film Schools at any other state.

Best,

Alex

Doesn't sound like a bad idea unless you're getting some sweet deal at the music school -- meaning they're paying your way etc. UK or USA? Where do you want to live/work?
Scotland is in the UK, and the problem with Scotland is it's full of Scots.
