Glad to have discovered these boards. Very please to be welcomed into the community of peers and colleagues.
My name is Andrew, I'm a 26 year old film maker. Born and raised in West Haven, Connecticut. I have a BFA in Film & Television production from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Upon returning home in 2008 I got a job working at a Post Production house and now do Online Media editing for clients like ESPN and several major corporate businesses.
Outside of that, however, I started my own production company which has to date produced a feature film and 2 short films, with pre-production beginning on our next Feature starting next month.
I'm a jack of all trades film maker - usually handling writing / producing / directing / cinematography and editing all by myself. I shoot with a Sony PMW-EX1R and am a major proponent of using Adobe software for post.
Not sure what else to write other than I'm looking forward to meeting more people and making more networking connections.
I'm always on the hunt for new producers to help take hats off my head and most definitely always in need of a composer.

PS: I go by the nickname "Jow".
Long story short = Highschool + Foreign Chinese Exchange student couldn't say Andrew (called me Anjow) + My friends overhearing = name got stuck = name got abbreviated.
Hence: Jow. lol
