What do you think of México´s film industry?

Hi guys!
This is my first thread in the blog. Honestly I wasn´t very sure about what to say but this morning a pretty good question came to my mind.
What do you think of México´s film industry? Which movie have you seen? Did you like it? Why? Hahaha too much questions. I´d like to say I´m from México. I take any kind of comment, I´m really interested but please don´t be offensive.
:)

I don't know anything about Mexico's film industry. What can you share about Mexico's film industry? :)

Why would anyone be offensive? We're all pretty chill here, from all over the world.

Amores Perros is a very good movie! Iñarritu is an awesome director. That was his first movie, and it´s the most representative film we have. He was some other nice titles such as Babel and Biutiful, which was the last one. Generally his movies are kind of depressive. I mean he is very good, he is a pioneer in some narrative issues, he was gorgeous frames and dialogues. But some people find his stories too blue, even though he is very artistic.

My favorite director is Luis Estada. Herod´s Law and El Infierno are his best titles. They are both very strong satires. Herod´s Law critics México´s judicial system, it makes a strong critic to the PRI witch is a political party that stayed in power for more than 70 years (now it´s back :hmm: ). El Infierno makes fun of drug trafficking. It´s a very violent movie but is awesome. If you analyze closely you´ll see that both movies have a lot of symbolic elements witch support the critic and makes if wider and more profound. He was the ability of talk about a very interesting topic, in an entertaining way and with a lot of symbolic elements.

If someday you are interested in watching a mexican movie tell me witch genera do you enjoy and I can make a suggestion.

Hope that was interesting.
Ana
