What can I put in this documentary?

I'm interested in producing a documentary about a high school I once attended and hated while there/currently hate. Interviews from current students, graduates, local educators, and others with a career in education can be gathered --but I can't figure out what other footage can be featured in the documentary outside of that. Exterior footage of the building --meaning the high school-- and surrounding area can be taken, but that's all regarding it --since access inside won't be allowed. What can be taken as b-roll footage? What kind of graphics/text can be included to add more extensiveness/footage to the documentary? More visuals? What would you do? How would you make the documentary more exciting, engaging, and interesting? What else would you film outside of interviews?
