Warner Bros. looking for filmmaker to promote DC's heroes.

I would love to, but I've been told it doesn't work this way - if WB wants to look for a director or aspiring producer, it will get its agents to hold interviews and pick the cream of the crop.

Hey, maybe we can get together, pool our money, and make a hostile bid for WB - you know, put pressure on the board of directors to give us some work.

Yeah, DC needs a Kevin Feige-type person to steer something to a greater whole (JLA or whatever). Someone who can really guide the big picture (then hire a director who is good with ensembles for the JLA films). But the problem is the Marvel universe was an interconnected thing from day one. DC connected everything retroactively. Still, some clever planning and you could make a good 5 or 6 film cycle! And then a Harley Quinn movie :D

Related note, why the hell hasn't Solomon Kane been released in the US yet? I've been dying to see it since it was first announced!

They're going to do a JLA movie, but they can't even get individual characters off the ground, so I'm skeptical.

I'm thinking of doing a campaign to get WB to give me a contract - you know, billboard signs, TV ads in LA, and the like. But what if they give me that contract ... and require Summer Glau to appear? Rik, any thoughts? :D
