Wannabe Producer new to the boards

Hey, I'm Benjamin Clarke and I fool around at trying to be a Producer. I'm not A Producer, it's not my main source of income, so I try to be a Producer.

I'm Australian, 24, and have stuffed around with short films for many years. Got shortlisted twice for Tropfest but never finalised. Had some other success somewhat, but whatever.

I am currently in Pre-Production of my first feature film. It's independent and action/horror. Well... it's more action than horror, but it can be marketed as a horror.

It's called "Man vs. Car" which is basically about a guy who hunts down killer cars. It's the ultimate experience in high octane action! You could think of it as Christine (1983) meets Aliens (1986)... CHRISTINES!!! But it's NOT Maximum Overdrive (1986) :D

It's ultra low budget ($40,000), which is completely funded by myself and the Director, Sam Curtain.

That's about it.

40,000 budget? That's about 39,900 more than my last film- I'd gladly take that "low" budget :D

Sounds like an interesting premise-be interesting to see how you avoid the "Maximum Overdrive" effect(A pity too, because the original short story was well written).
