The Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, a non profit organization located in Santa Barbara, CA, and dedicated to creating a world free of war and nuclear weapons, is proud to announce a video contest for 2009 with cash prizes for winning entries. We invite anyone who is interested to join the contest, and are awarding $1,000 to the first prize winner, $750 to second place, and $250 to third place. The Swackhamer Disarmament Video Contest seeks videos less than three minutes in length addressing the topic “Breakthrough: Putting the Nuclear Genie Back in the Bottle.” The deadline for entries is June 15, 2009.
