editing Vegas 10e crashed by Boris Continuum

My Boris plug ins crash my Vegas.
I have a Dell i7 quad with 4 gigs of RAM and Home version of w7.

I'll try re installing w7, if the problem persists should I upgrade to w7 PRO and double my RAM?

Uninstall Vegas and Boris plug-ins and reinstall?

Does it crash on start up, only on that clip, during render??

I open Vegas, import a clip, click the little green cross that opens FX and all the Boris and Sony filters appear. At least half the Boris filters crash Vegas if I try and apply them to the clip.

Are you applying it to the entire track or a single clip?

What happens if you apply it to an empty video track?

If I insert a blank video track and apply a Boris filter, it doesn't seem to crash so far.

try it on a different clip, maybe one using a different codec, bit rate, etc. and report back.

All my clips are AVCHD 1080p. But it's a good clue, I'll render to something else and see what happens.
EDIT: I don't think it's a codec thing, I tried MPEG 2 and Lagarith Uncompressed AVi and same problem.

See if you can apply the effect to the clip not the track. If you can its easy to copy it to all the clips you need at once.

If I apply effects to clip or track, in various codecs, it still crashes.
