film-school Vacation Destination: Film Schools?

I have some vacation time and it was suggested to me to go get some training in a film school (Director/DOP) as a self improvement step.

I'm wonder if people can recommend or point me to legit film schools that hold meaningful 1-4 week courses.
I know of REDucation and Finding Life Film School.

Ideally the focus is towards using advance techniques to tell stories and it focused is hands-on training in a film environment.

Does it have to be in Canada?

The NY Film Aacademy seems fairly popular, though I have no first-hand knowledge of them myself.
