Two Camers - one cartridge of film?

Hi guys. I have two super 8 cameras that I just got. I want to test out how Ektachrome 100D looks on both of them but I only have one cartridge...

I don't really have any idea as to how these thigns work and was wondering if it is at all possible to film a minute on one and then take out the cartridge and insert it into the other camera and then film the other minute on that?

Is it possible to do that - is it good to switch one cartridge between different cameras?

Any info would be really appreciated,

You can do it. You will lose about 20 frames of film when you pull the cartridge out.

Thanks for the reply! Why would I lose 20 frames of film? (Also, that sounds like a lot but as it's filming 24 frames per second I'm hoping that is the equivalent to losing about a seconds-worth of film?

See that opening in the cartridge? There are about 6 frames exposed to
the light there. Those will be exposed when you pull the cartridge and
about five or six on either side will be fogged.
