watch To Tokyo - Teaser Trailer for a new Thriller.

Long time reader, but though I'd make use of you wonderful people for once haha!

'A young woman, hiding from her past, is confronted by her stepsister in Japan and forced to face the Figure who blurs dream and reality'

Thats the very basic jist of a film (which I'm working on currently), that has had a lot of praise and good people working with it so far.

Half of it has been shot so far mainly in Japan, and the crew are now in South Africa before coming back to London to complete the shoot in the next couple of months.

In terms of cinematography, this is gonna be one stunning film, the locations chosen are incredible, and I and many others are incredibly excited the see the finished result.

Heres the teaser trailer with some of the stuff from Japan: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvjYShp8V_Q

It's still early stages really so far, which is why we also have a kickstarter campaign running at the same time.

Take a look if you like, any help would be appreciated.
But it really is looking like a really exciting film which we hope we can send off to as many festivals as possible when complete.

Very impressive.

I'll check out your Kick Starter page.

Note, with indiegogo.com you get to keep whatever funds are raised even if you don't reach your target. With Kick Starter you only get the funds if you reach your target...

Obviously, hopefully you'll reach yours. :)

I prefer this kind of trailer to other trailers. No idea what it's really about, but it makes me excited for the project. I damn well want to see this!

EDIT: although have you considered making a copy of the film available at the lower price brackets in the kickstarter? I can't afford to give you £55, and don't really want any of the other rewards. I'm more likely to go for the £5 option currently (as I am barely surviving student life as it is, and the rewards don't mean much to me). But if there was a copy of the film at £10/£15, I would find that a more justifiable purchase. Just a thought.

Oh and also, any reason for no Blu-Ray? I'm not sure what current market tastes are, but I avoid buying DVDs over Blu-Ray/HD downloads if at all possible

I understand what you're saying (being a student too), so I've forwarded those concerns on! We appreciate your ideas.
I can't answer the blu-ray question as of yet, but again I've forwarded that question on!

If you know of anyone else that would be willing to help us out at all, then that'd be great! :)
