I did the audio post on this short in '08. It's all production sound, no Foley and very minimal sound FX, the entire audio post done in about 20 hours.

I only made it through the first 10 minutes, but the sound was outstanding. How was it recorded?

A Sennheiser MKH-60 shotgun into a Sound Devices 302 mixer into the camera; I don't know which camera, but I believe it was the DVX-100.

whoa. It sounds very clean. Its like it was on a soundstage or all adr foley. I cant believe its all production sound. bravo.

My ADR doesn't sound that clean.

I use one. I also use noisy locations though. I cant escape traffic sounds even with ADR.

How is that possible? If you ADR you should have total silence except for the dialog. Yes, you have to replace the traffic ambience, etc., but you have total control over the mix so it shouldn't be an issue.

we recorded adr in my home, where there's plane and traffic nearly constantly.

It's like that pretty much anywhere in the city or so everyone tells me.
