I think the soundtrack is important in any film. I was very fortunate to have the services of professional musician Phil Cockerham providing the music for 'Bang Up Or Pay Back?'. I would recommend Phil's services to anybody in the film industry.

I am due to start filming the sequel to Bang Up which will form part of a trilogy. I'm thinking about using a basic camera, as opposed to a dsrl - any pitfalls I need to be aware of ?

Depends what you mean by basic camera - if you want to shoot on a £200 camcorder then you'll have lots of limitations, not so much on an EX3.

Thanks for the response. I think it's an old Panasonic; they're about $3000 new, but I've heard a lot about new film makers using DSLR cams such as Canon 7D, instead of the older, much bigger cameras. I can see the rational, but to achieve the best results, surely lighting, sound and wide lens' etc all add to the finished product?
