Hello and welcome to the forum.

'' Doing all sorts of stuff '' usually doesn't work for Youtube . Being focused on one/two things such as Short Films/Tutorials and maybe some BTS is the right way to go . Your audience doesn't want to be spammed with random videos they don't care about .

+1 to everything RED ROBOT said. You should have one channel for short films, trailers, BTS, etc. And another channel for games, random videos, etc. If I ever wanted to do gameplay videos or something else unrelated to films and filmmaking, I'd start another channel.
