It's rumored that GM is going to invest in the remake of "The Cannonball Run" and will supply all of the vehicles.

GM is pretty good about getting their cars in features.. Transformers 1 was a Camaro ad and the whole GM=Good Guys and the one Ford was evil sent a message. Notice the Mustang had no badges haha.

I see more fords and toyotas in prime time television though. And ad placed fords and toyotas, where the badge is dead center and the characters talk about great gas milage or horsepower.
