Oh no! Please tell me you did not just compare a wife to a trophy! My intuition tells me that wasn't your intent. Or maybe I'm just giving you the benefit of the doubt. Either way, I wanna believe that your intent was to show just how powerful a romantic attraction can be -- that a man will pull off amazing feats they never knew they were capable of, simply because they want to attract a girl. That much I can get on board with, cuz it's true to life. I think any cis-gendered straight male will admit that pretty much everything we do is to get a girl.

If that was your intent with this film, I think it could've used a lot more depth and a longer running-time. As is, it kinda looks like the woman is the trophy.

That being said, I was rather impressed with your cinematography. I've often advised tiny-budget filmmakers not to attempt shooting anything in a large space, like a bowling alley, simply because it'll be so difficult to light it properly. You used, what, a total of four lights? Did I count that right? And yet, you placed those lights carefully enough, and chose your framing carefully enough, that it actually looks good. Nicely done.

The BTS video was cool, too. I really like what you did with the bokeh. Very creative.

Okay, I just gave it a 2nd viewing, and now I think I better know your intent. He won the trophy because she encouraged him. And then he got the interview because he thought of his supporting wife.

I think I was originally thrown-off by the closing shot, in which the woman and the trophy almost mirror each other. That shot really makes it look like the wife is the trophy.
