The Tramp: In the trenches

We got a short video of us filming a scene for The Tramp. Two thugs harass a prostitute as a main character, Mirabella (she is in a car) attempts to rescue the prostitute.

We couldn't find a "boom pole" (modded broom stick ;), but audio still would have been unusable, because we were right under the bridge and in extremely windy area... We shot with ADR in mind, recording actor's lines for reference.

I'll post some processed video of the scene later today.
But this is how we do it! :) Bare crew, no permits, quickly get in, and quickly getting out!

Oh and here is a scene in the screenplay:
INT SUV - EVENING

Mirabella drives through the ghettos and scans the sidewalks.

She sees Angelica on the opposite end of a street, makes a
U-Turn and slows down next to her.

Angelica opens a passenger door.

ANGELICA
Hey gorgeous! Feeling lonely?

Angelca peeks inside the car and immediately steps back.

MIRABELLA
Hey!

Angelica cautiously looks around.

ANGELICA
Are you out of your mind? You were
lucky Johnny didn't kill you
yesterday.

MIRABELLA
Don't worry about him. Get in.

Angelica sees two thugs getting out of their car nearby.

THUGS
Hey!

ANGELICA
(Quietly)
Shit. Go. Get out.

Mirabella looks around and sees two approaching men. Angelica
steps away from the car.

THUG#1
What's going on? What are you doing?

ANGELICA
(Smiling)
Just some shmuck asked for
directions.

THUG#1
Directions?! Bitch, your job is to
fuck, not to be a god damn city
directory.

Thug#2 looks in the driver side window.

THUG#2
That's fifty buck for talking to our
pretty lady, fuckface!

He smiles as he meets Mirabella's glaring eyes.

THUG#2
God damn! Hey man! Isnt' she that
bitch from yesterday!?

THUG#1
Well hello there. Came back for some
desert?

Thug #1 opens driver side door when suddenly Mirabella grabs
Thug#2 by his jacket through her window, raises her gun and
shoots Thug#1. He collapses.

Mirabella shoves a gun at Thug#2 face.

THUG#2
Don't shoot! Please!

MIRABELLA
Angelica!

Angelica quickly pats grounded and wounded Thug#1 for a
wallet.

MIRABELLA
Get your ass in the car. Now!

Angelica steps over the body and climbs into the car.

Thug throws his gun onto Mirabella's laps. She shoves him out
of the way and speeds off.

ANGELICA
Thats it. We re fucking dead.



MIRABELLA
We ll see about that.
