On the casting side, we had a no show for the role of an Amazon love interest. So, we will be putting casting notices everywhere for that role next month and look to keep lots of backup actors behind the one we cast to fill in for flakes.
Also, it looks like the best way to cast the silver demon roles is to put no age limit for the roles. Older actors in their 40s and 50s seem to have more of an interest in it than men in their 20's and 30s.
The other advantage of having the actors playing the roles to be completely covered head to toe in silver is to insert stunt dummies for the actor when they have to get thrown or take a hard hit to the head or throat.
I'm going to be making this production by bartering goods and services with other local producers where we will help each other to get each of our productions made. In this bad economy, I find more local filmmakers willing to work this way. I have 2 filmmakers working this way with me already.
