The Personal Part of Admissions: Portfolio & Interview

Here are 5 reasonable schools, in order of most favored to least, of where I'm interested in going:

1) Emerson College (I'd really, really like to go here)
2) SUNY Purchase
3) Ithaca
4) Drexel
5) Rochester Institute of Technology

[If you have any other suggestions, please post those too]

I've heard that for SUNY Purchase, the program is nearly impossible to get into, and you really have to stand out. For those of you who've applied, or heard things, what's the best thing to have your film portfolio consist of? I'm academically opportune to get into any of those colleges, in fact it'd be rather easy for me if it was able academics, but I need to know what they expect/ask of you at an interview, and what they like to see in your portfolio, and please refrain from a general answer like "talent, ability and creativity" :P because although that makes sense and can easily answer this question, I'd like specifics. Thanks in advance!
