The Lepidopterist

Please take this video with a grain of salt. My real purpose in doing this was to learn how to use some of DaVinci Resolve Studio (coming from HitFilm), so it is what it is. I did learn a lot, though.:)
The vintage look (and its slightly diffused look) are on purpose, lol.
It's based on Doyle's "The Hound of the Baskervilles", but focuses on the character of the antagonist ("Stapleton"), with Watson commenting on the reality of evil.

Really cool stuff a lot of interesting visual ideas here. I've always liked ACD.

The Fusion Tab in Davinci resolve can be really powerful if you learn how to use it, It kind of appends the power of after effects on to a cleaner editing format like premiere. If you're just using it for the first time make sure to check in your settings that your gpu is selected. They may have fixed this but it used to default to off and then the entire program ran 8 times slower.

Thanks, Nate! I did delve into the Fusion page (as well as color and edit, etc.) and I can see that the possibilities there are vast. Thanks for the tip about gpu; I did have it selected, which is good because I think otherwise I could have knitted a whole sweater while stuff was rendering, lol.
