Hey!

My brother, Anthony Penta, is a filmmaker as well. Recently he finished his masters at University of Austin, TX, and his thesis was the 37 minute short THE LAST THING SHE WANTED.

A director friend of mine likened it to works of Ridley Scott, which I absolutely agree on. I'm super proud of his work--this being, what I think, his best project to date.

What do you think? What's great about this film, is the ending is totally intense...a really bold move and extremely well excecuted. OK OK, he's my brother, but all bias aside, I love his work.

I LOVE the lighting - how has he done that?

Hey Hugo. I'm not sure what lights he used or what the actual setups are. He went for a definite difference between night and day though--yellow and blue. It looks like he spills a lot of light into the rooms from outside, and uses a diffusion/smoke machine inside to catch the light.

It really does remind me of some of Ridley Scott's work...backlit and diffused.
