The Indiana Filmmakers Network has grown into a statewide organization that helps filmmakers, crew, and actors work together to further their career goals and improve the overall quality of film productions in the state.
While the Indianapolis Metro Area meetings have been well attended for years, we are still seeing incredible growth. The Indianapolis meetings are routinely drawing 50-70 attendees. Our Lafayette Chapter, headed by Nathan Bechtold, has been presenting some great guest speakers with 20-30 filmmakers in attendance. The latest chapter is in Bloomington. This has taken off like a rocket thanks to the work of Chris Eller and the many enthusiastic members both on and off IU campus. The attendance in Bloomington has been great, around 40 attendees at the first two meetings.
We would like to see branches meeting in other parts of the state, such as Ft. Wayne, Evansville, The Calumet Region, etc. If you are interested in helping organize a trial meeting in any of these areas please let us know. We can offer some great advise and assistance.
