Did you catch the tribute to him they aired on AMC? Was pretty good. While all three are great films, only "The Lonely Guy" fall in the '80s (1984). The Jerk and LA Story are '79 and '91 respectively. Sorry to be such a stickler.
 
Well ladies and gents this is one heck of a list you all put together. With no repeats, sequals being counted as one entry, 79 movies have been named. Although not all made the cut many of these have been added to my netflix queue, which I am happy to announce has broken the 200 mark. :clap: So many movies so little time.

I am sorry to say that I was unable to locate "bikini carwash." Unless it is listed under a different name it is not available through Netflix A search of imdb.com came up with several results, none of which where made in the 80's. Real shame. ;) Oh another correction "leap of faith" was released in '92. I added it to my queue anyway.
