I'm lost...I understand the process, but that didn't come out somehow...Sorry Peter and John, but that interview made very little sense. I'm going to be the other kind of critic on this one. I don't know if there's a way to edit it to have it make more sense, lots of dialog cut and paste with cutaways to cover the edits. I left less sure that I understood the process than when I started.

is the online the digibeta copy?
do they ever actually go back to film to cut from the EDL (which wasn't brought up) or is that done in the Digibeta, then dumped back to film for distro?

The feeling I got was the narrator didn't know much about the process, but was trying to explain what he heard about it. The other docs are better.
