Just some low budget nerd with too many hobbies. Won't make much of myself but I'll sure have fun along the way... Been lurking here for quite awhile. Interested in editing, filming, directing, and writing. In about that order, maybe 1 or 2 off... I'm ugly so maybe no acting... I like comedy, scifi, action, music, and good old document/drama stuff.. wait, that's almost everything. Bought a $45 e-bay unit: Canon ZR25MC. Built my own bluescreen just in case, got a tripod, have musicians in the wings, and plenty of friends offering to act in my stuff. Really wish I had a better cam but will do what IK can with what I have. Thanks so much to all you originators/supporters of this site. I've learned a ton. I'll contribute what I can, but mostly just hang out and learn. Thanks again for this site and all the info.
Keep in mind that the search function is your friend. Everyone here is always very glad to help you out, but a lot of the "basics" questions have been asked and answered many times.
