Last night I drove to Ann Arbor to see the Sundance premiere of Win Win (McCarthy 2011) at the Michigan Theatre.
I was an AMAZING experience and I recommend it to anyone who will be able to see it as it releases.
It's about a lawyer, played by Paul Giamatti, who coaches wrestling in his free time. He becomes the guardian of one of his clients and stumbles upon his grandson, who happens to be a star wrestler.
I'm glad that film culture is making its way through the midwest... next stop, OHIO
Maybe someday I could muster up some time and money to go to Sundance in Park City.
My predictions are... Win Win will be as successful with Fox Searchlight as Black Swan.
