student looking for summer film experience

Hey. I am a fairly new filmmaker looking to gain some more experience this summer. I would love to help out on a set. I do not care about being paid, I just want some experience. I do not mind traveling either. I go to the University of Georgia in Athens, and there are not a lot of opportunities in film in this small town. Any summer work would be great. Hello Tabe, make sure you look at trade publications where most production companies post their internship programs. Go ahead and send you resume and a cover letter to productions@explorart.com.

It is great that you are starting the process early. Most internships are filled by March. Good Luck.
