The New York Times has a video article on the use of the steadicam, and I've learned about this in a previous thread. That's nice, but, as I said in that thread, I'm a story-teller, not a filmmaker per se.
I'm open to the idea of doing shorts, just to get it out of my system, but my creative role would be in the writing, not filming. But a better idea, according to the senior professionals, is to be a legal consultant in a film studio and watch the process.
