Something else I've noticed a lot in some outstanding films is THE ARRIVAL...

A lot of the great films (both old and new) seem to start off with the arrival of SOMETHING. The arrival could of course be a character but it's definitely not limited to that...

What I've witnessed in the last bunches of films I watched is that the film starts off with the ARRIVAL of either a CHARACTER or EVENT.

Just something I keep noticing... Maybe it can help you LAUNCH your story.

My new movie starts with the arrival of the main characters by helicopter.

Hope that's a good sign!
