I tracked the shot using Match Mover. All of the CGI work, including the spaceship modeling, was done in Maya. I brought the camera match move data into Maya, then set up some primitive objects to catch shadows and reflection. I had the spaceship follow a curve that defined the flight path. I can't remember how I lit it. Probably 1 or 2 area lights. I used Fusion to create mattes whenever the ship flew behind something.
By the way, that spaceship has been a staple of a lot of my test effects shots. It was originally made for Scoopicman's movie, Exile.
