While studying the previous decades of independent film, and reading the stories of legends such as Ed wood, I came across many fun stories of film projects where investors had come in to produce films, and forced their ideas into the script.
The results were sometimes hilarious, with films that started off as monster horror flicks having to add in sci fi, conspiracy, romantic, or comedy themes mid project, or in post.
Cowboys having gunfights with martians back to back with a dance number and a serious moment about politics, that sort of thing.
Thought it would be entertaining to see how many of these disasters we could all gather up, as a warning to future filmmakers about the disasters of working with strange money, and backseat drivers.
