I have laced together a 'quick and dirty' trailer which looks OK. I am generally comfortable with it for a first time trailer effort.
However, I need to know about the sound, particularly as this is the first time I have taken my time to build a solid soundscape. I am using this as an initial experiment in terms of building proper sound. As a note, the sound in this trailer is not quite the finished article but what I wanted to know is if it is along the right lines.
Firstly, do you think the sound is along the right lines?
Secondly, what simple elements could I do in order to improve it? My thoughts are to add an extremely subtle, almost inaudible underlying heartbeat and then cut it out just as the 'true story' part starts.
This is particularly important as this is a litmus test for the rest of the short. The sound is being built, layered and lovingly constructed.
What do you think?
