cinematography Some quick questions about dolly tricks

I am working on building a hydraulic dolly (enlisted some mechanical engineers :yes:), but want to keep my options for additional track in the future open. What would be an optimal diameter for the track to ride on? Keep in mind that I want to be able to purchase the track in the future, so some sort of industry standard diameter is essential to know.
