SoCal Indie Horror Film Festival 10/16/09 - The Independent Grindhouse Double-Feature

Hey IndieTalk community. I just wanted to let you guys know that if you're in the SoCal region, you should come check out The Independent Grindhouse Double-Feature film festival on October 16 at the California State University of San Marcos.

We'll be screening the feature films Reunion of Terror, directed by Michael Hoffman, and Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead, directed by Lloyd Kaufman - along with three trailers (one which being Horrors of War and the upcoming feature film Forget Me Not) and also Contests, Prizes, and Give-Aways.

Michael Hoffman will also be coming down to the event with some of the cast and crew to do a Q&A.

Yeah, after calculating our budget more, we found our feature film pilot to cost $2,500 so we're going to be using this event as a fundraiser.

We're holding it every month, and are going to be making it into a non-profit once we get enough monies for the submission fee.

Most of the money earned from the festival however is going to back into the next one.

THERE'S BEEN A CHANGE IN THE ADMISSION PRICES.

CSUSM Students - $7
General Admission - $10
All-Day Parking Permit - $9
(Parking not included with ticket purchases)
