So what next...?

So we will have a website up with trailers for three shorts. Two of these will be festivalled this year while the third will probably need to be 'saved' involving ADR, reshooting etc... but at least there will be a trailer up for it. One of these is good enough to get into minor festivals, a second is probably OK enough to get into minor festivals and the third needs work.

Now the $6m USD question is... what next?

What is the next stage in your experience?

Personally, I believe the next stage is to shoot a couple more shorts but make them longer and more sophisticated. They will need to be stronger, properly shot and start to win stuff at festivals. Then we can start to take the ideas of making these shorts into features to investors.

However, this is just a guess. What is your own experience out there in the real world?

I ve made about a dozen of shorts. Releasing the last one this Sunday (lucky 13!) and brainstorming on 3 features. Outlining first feature (nuns and cannibals) and brainstorming on other two ("Five stick of dynamite" and "panther paw")
