Are you saying it didn't deserve the Oscar for Best Picture?

I will say this: I watch a lot of horror movies. Most really suck bad. The Movies to Die For series are atrocious. If I was able to shoot the script that I shot, in proper locations on film, Us Sinners would be a classic. Because regardless of whether you enjoy the movie, the disgust factor (Toe/Condom/Blood Shake/Maxi Pad/Ending) can't be denied.

You mean the Horrorfest Films to die for series?

I wonder what the effects budget was for August Underground's Mordum .

Us Sinners has been compared to August Underground and Guinea Pig series by a lot of people. I've never seen any of them. I have seen a few clips, and the acting doesn't seem to be on the same par. I have to get my horror through Netflix and some of these titles aren't available. I keep trying to get someone from one of these sites to lend them to me. I'd pay shipping.

I've never even heard of Slaugtered Vomit Dolls. Is it new?

Isn't Horrorfest the new name? I guess they figured the old name ran out of steam. So, change the name, not the content.
 
I love Guinea Pig Series, the gore makeup / effects in it from like 20 years ago rival some stuff today. Slaughtered Vomit Dolls isn’t new, nothing much to it really (It's more experimental style than anything else, and good for a headache if you don’t sit back from the screen lol), but ultra low budget.

Have you seen Grotesque or Philosophy of a knife ?

I saw a few from the Horrorfest series, they were okay, but not scary. Nice work in them though.

I guess film and locations would do a number on Us Sinners, but it’s really here nor there to me, some have done more with less, others and have done less with more. I think it works as is. (Does it’s job and some more)
